San Diego Chiropractor Says Trial Experience Helps Personal Injury Patients

“It becomes easier to simply avoid taking the case, which unfortunately forces the patient to continue his search for proper care.” The chiropractor adds that timely treatment of whiplash and other accident injuries is critical to prevent internal scarring and other issues from impairing the injured body part’s range of motion and ability to heal itself. Dr. Ta appears to have no such hesitation where these cases are concerned. In addition to being a disc herniation specialist , he also holds board certifications as a Chiropractic Examiner and independent Medical Examiner. Other certifications include those in the AMA Impairment Rating System and as an Industrial Disability Examiner. “I am frequently asked to appear in work-related accident injury and personal injury cases,” Dr. Ta says. The fact that the State of California has also licensed the chiropractor as a Medical Evaluator for workers compensation cases enhances his desirability as an expert witness in these frequently sensitive situations. “Even if the case doesn’t go to trial, I’m willing to provide expert testimony in the deposition, mediation or arbitration phases as needed,” says Dr. Ta. All this trial experience has allowed CK Chiropractic Clinic to provide more value to its clientele. “We’re not afraid to take these cases because I am always willing to appear in court as a credible expert witness,” says the San Diego chiropractor .

Review: ‘Caucasian Chalk Circle’ jabs at injustice
NEW YORK (AP) — The oblivious entitlement of the elite is a cherished target for caricature. German dramatist Bertolt Brecht harpooned the arrogance of the privileged class (“well-born stinkers”) in “The Caucasian Chalk Circle,” his 1944 absurdist tale of exile, social inequality and misguided justice.
Can You Tell Who’s the Soda Addict and Who’s the Meth Addict?
Very possibly, you’re regularly drinking something that has some similarities to methamphetamine and crack cocaine, not to mention Drano and battery acid. The culprit? That would be soda. A new report out from the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) found that overindulging in a different kind of coke habit (as in Coke) could horribly damage your teeth and gums—to the extent that your mouth would look a lot like a meth addict’s.
America Has Lost the Will to Swim for Its Life, Apparently, Because Obama
A terrible thing happened last week: a bridge collapsed in Washington state, leaving three people stranded in the middle of a river, waiting to be rescued by boat. According to conservative commentator Tony Katz, the terrible thing was not the nation’s frail infrastructure. It was that those three wimps were too scared to swim to shore. Katz said on an NRA Internet radio show last week:
12 Obsolete Technologies Americans Still Use
In my apartment, the cordless phone sits right next to the 2,400 baud modem … in my drawer of outdated gadgets. My last VCR sits at the bottom of a landfill, buried right next to my VHS copy of “Y2K: The Movie.” But for some consumers right here in America, ancient technologies are still a part of everyday life as they continue to buy brand-new cassette tapes, subscribe to dial-up Internet and make calls from a pay phone.

Rugby greats to host coaching clinic at Dubai Sports City

The UAE rugby community will have the chance to gain tips and advice from three former international players who will be hosting a coaching clinic at Dubai Sports City (DSC) next Wednesday.
Brian Lima (Samoa), Carlos Spencer (New Zealand) and Shane Williams (Wales) will be imparting their expertise and wisdom to those in attendance, before lacing up the gloves 48 hours later to compete in the charity boxing night Fighting Chance.
Former Samoa star Lima, who earned the nickname ‘The Chiropractor’ for his bone-crunching tackles, will be teaching the art of defending, former All Black fly-half Spencer will provide kicking tips, and ex-Wales wing Williams will be revealing the secrets to his attacking flair.
DSC General Manager Maqbul Dudhia is delighted the three rugby heroes are on hand to provide some coaching and has encouraged anyone with an interest in rugby to head down and get involved.
“The coaching clinic is a fantastic opportunity for people to get close to three outstanding players,” he said. “The night is open to all chiropractic clinic ages and we encourage players, coaches and fans to get involved and spend a bit of time in the presence of these great athletes.”
The rugby union legends will then take part in a charity amateur boxing event two nights later along with a host of top international sportsmen and women, to raise funds for Richard Holland; a South African Dubai-resident, who was knocked off his bike and sustained life-changing injuries while training for an Iron Man challenge last October.
Along with Spencer, Lima and Williams, other stars on the boxing card include Conrad Jantjes and Bolla Conradie, the former Springbok backs, England rugby league stars Lee Radford and Sean Long, Epi Taione, the former Tonga rugby league player and ex-British and Irish Lions and Ireland forward Shane Byrne.
The fight-night action also features former England One-Day International cricket captain Adam Hollioake and Non Evans, the Wales women’s rugby union all-time leading points scorer, who also competed for her country in three separate sports at the Commonwealth Games – judo, weightlifting and wrestling.
Dubai Sports City will also be hosting the Fighting Chance boxing night at their Football Dome, and Dudhia added: “The Fighting Chance night is something we are all looking forward to. It is for an outstanding cause.
“It will provide a great night of action and entertainment with a host of top sports stars entering the ring.
“The Football Dome has only been open for a short time but already it is staging football and touch rugby and with a night of boxing to come it showcases the variety of sports we can host.”
The rugby coaching clinic will take place at the DSC Academies Campus for two hours from 7-9pm on Wednesday May 22.
Tickets are available for AED120 and can be purchased by calling 04 448 1555 or 056 791 9780 or by emailing rugby@dxbsport.com.
